Hello everyone,

I have been around for a long time and working on a game for just as long.
Just wanted to post a quick blog about the status of my game.
Things are now progressing quite quickly after a very long time of building levels, fixing bugs, and coming up with a good story that would go along my original idea for a game.
If you look at my last blog, https://www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/22998, I wanted to make a sci-fi game with a single-player and multi-player mode.
The single player has taken me the longest, as I've never done art in the past and I wanted to have a story line that would keep the player interested until the end.
There are still a few things that I need to add, such as sound and music, a nice UI interface, and a save system. I should have them done very soon, I believe. Also, of course, still some bugs to be fixed, but I don't foresee these to take long either.

In the meantime, I encourage to please visit my webpage and checkout the new in-game images I have just posted at http://visitorsthegame.com/photo/

More to come

What is it about? You should write a short description what your game is about and what features it will have.

PS: You could try making use of the macro texture for terrians, it will remove that blurryness on the terrain on mid distances.

: It's all in the title. The pictures and my previous blog reveal some clues as well. Will have more info with time. I'm using T3D 1.2: no macro textures. Thanks for checking it out.

It is a solo game with story mode ?
It will look better in Torque 4 with the new shaders and lighting.

Yes, there will be a story mode. Not triple-A long, but enough to tell a story.
If the game does well, I already have a story lined-up for the sequel which will continue from where this game left off. I plan to have the sequel made in the newest stable version of Torque. I also already have the foundation for a multi-player mode SWBF 2005 style.

You should not release and wait what happens, you need to promote before you release, times are harsh for indie devs due to the huge amount of new titles and don't forget proper beta testing.

Thanks, Bishop. I just saw your post about your project. It looks interesting. I like the idea of exploring and investigating. It's something like the Project Blue Book TV series, if I'm not mistaken.
