I never use IE, but its still on my system because I don't clean out default installed junk, but still some places open IE vs default browser.

gotowebpage() launches IE on my system for... reasons

I too will not use t3d until it is open source unity! I'd like to see more export options, tho how easy this is, in reality, I don't know, personally i'd like to see UWP first, unless I'm missing some understanding there would have to be some kind of process to convert entire projects assetflow etc ...

just to add to this, I'm sure it's not the default web browser, it's one of those commands that launch internet explorer, this happens quite a lot from a variety of applications, and many people uninstall it for whatever reason.

as far as scale, I export from blender at 0.1, and import to torque at 0.1 this seems to get the correct size meshes in the game

torque does have an older JSON library built into it somewhere in its depths, tho I'm not sure if anywhere there's any scripts for TS examples.

the engine contains SQLite integration, so the SQL side of torquescript is available in the repo.
theres a couple of old MySQL files in here, a webpage and a download http://bit.ly/GoogleDrivePublic, its old but it should give you enough detail
