Regarding the health I should have mentioned that I use health regeneration, so the script updating the postFX is triggered very often, I also prefer the smooth fading in and out of the postFX rather than instant big jumps in intensity. My script also took into account the stamina, so having low hea...

Does the Vignette effect change in realtime based on your health status? I tried that once and it ate a lot of FPS, since I did it in script only and it was calculated every frame. I could not do it in C++ so I gave up on having postFX change in realtime. Are those rocks made in medusa? Overall it l...

I always go for the latest Ubuntu LTS version, but only to compile my game with, since it should bring the best compatibility, personally I don't use Ubuntu. For Server it does not really matter what Linux you use I think, if it runs, it runs. The most problems only arise, if you have to compile you...

C++ is harder than Torquescript and they are not really different languages, they are very similar. Sure you can do all your game in C++, but it will be much harder, that is why script languages exist, to make things easier and faster to build.

OBS is the best tool for that, most of those Streamers use it, so it cannot be that hard to learn, there are other good alternatives, but they cost money or they will make you look like an idiot by putting a stupid branding into your videos.

You are probably underestimating yourself, I looked at many indie games made with Unity, Unreal etc and they are on average visually worse than your WIP screenshots. And I would strongly recommend to not make a free game, I speak from experience, not because I'm against free games, but with a free g...

I'm aware that those waves use multiple texture layers, I use 3, but are you saying now, that all layers just use one decal road also the debree and the wet stripe on the beach?
