It's second semester, it's like things are always postponed, 4.0 is far from complete and having major issues sorted out.
A project i have can't wait more semesters, so i decided to start using other great open source 3D alternatives.

I wish you good luck and success.

Mac Precompiled added to OP. @Razer Can you clarify what you mean by 'nothing happens'? Do you see the splash screen? Get to the main menu? Anything in the logs? It's like it is starting looking at the mouse cursor, and nothing, no screen, no process running. Like the process just shuts down after ...

It is not a DLL related with something very specific to Torque 3D ? I have hundred dev tools and other things on my computer and it's the very first time a program asks for that DLL. Meanwhile i downloaded that DLL and put it on the main Torque folder, but running AssetWork there is no crash but not...

I'll be updating the roadmap tomorrow. Obviously it's good to have a target, but life, lemons, and tripping on life's lemons often causes delays.
I think the right formula is to add one or two year quarters to an estimated date release.

It's great. With friends we want to do a VR game, we would like to use T3D. So I have a few questions about T3D and VR. 1) the VR extension is shown with an oculus, can it be funcitoning with a HTC ? Using OpenVR it should work but I'd rather ask. 2) are there any necessary scripts or is this C++ on...

I got two pals interested to team up on a game, one is already working on VR and convinced me to work on their VR game; we would like to use T3D. Someone was working on Open VR support for T3D, can we expect to see more OpenVR support in 4.0 with new project templates and scripts ? Apparently new VR...
