Good spots on all this, I'll make sure to get this rolled in. On the no-pie thing, I did some reading and it seems like it's more just a "it's less secure this way because it doesn't get punted into random memory", but since it actually lets the thing run without any hoop-jumping, then unless somet...

Hey, I've been attempting to compile the Pre-Release in Linux and so far have some case-sensitive problems. In customShaderFeature.cpp - line 23, it was CustomShaderFeature.h but was supposed to be customShaderFeature.h. Damn case-sensitivity. In meshREnderSystem.h, I changed, #include "core/util/S...

Not a big help but I noticed that your collision in your corner shape is not named correctly. Perhaps the reason why it doesn't crash is because the collision isn't there. Doesn't help with why your other perfectly fine shapes are crashing with perfectly fine collision.

Sorry to hijack for a second, Dioun. Hey @CodeJunkie. You still on Linux? If so, ever since 3.10.1 I have had to add in CMAKE: CMAKE_EXE_LINKER_FLAGS -no-pie CMAKE_EXE_LINKER_FLAGS_RELEASE -no-pie If I don't do that, I can only execute from the terminal and the thing is, I forget where I even found ...

I was able to bake the textures. I could only get it to do it well with the imported MakeHuman model. One problem is the hair lacks the transparency so it doesn't look as good. I used the alpha in materials editor to make it a little bit better. One could leave the hair and eyebrows out of the bake ...

Got to admit Blender 2.80 seems to make a lot more sense. In this case relearning will be welcomed.

I've been attempting to learn baking textures but it always screws up. The unwrap goes well and once I seemed to get the new uvmap working but the textures looked like crap. Then I couldn't replicate that. It's maddening. I haven't given in but just think of this as a thread where we share what we l...
