I've finally started work on it!

New button graphics, new (very ugly) UI, new sounds, new level and menu music! Also, working on the resource system and it's interaction with the UI and building system - the server manages resources, but still needs to tell the client to update its button state based on what you can afford to build.

Right now I'm working through my "rough sketch" of what I want to present so it's all still very early and it probably won't be ready to test for several months. In addition, I keep finding little typos in Part 1 as I work on Part 2. So anyway, I'll post a few screenshots later but keep in mind that the UI is really, really ugly.

Don't bother with art, you just waste precious programming time.

And that's why it's ugly. All of my images and UI elements were made in about 4 hours. Still, need unique buttons or you can't tell them apart.
