New godray shader

The new and improved shader uses 3 passes like the one from Crysis 1 : http://www.slideshare.net/TiagoAlexSous ... s-gdc-2008 page 63,64 .

What you get in this shader: better rays, ability to change the color of the rays.
The cost is minimal.
The old shader ~175fps
The new shader ~170fps

If you want the shader. I have the direct3d version and the gl version :D .

Update. After some optimization i got the new shader to be at 182fps. And get it to look like the one from witcher 3
