Breakable Joints?

Anyone any ideas or resources on how to accomplish breakable joints?

I want a car to drive down a road and if wheel1 gets hit buy a rock wheel1 flies off

If you go with a physx vehicle (which I have yet to implement but is supported in some detail in physx3, I understand) then joints can be assigned breaking force / breaking torque which causes them to break when exceeded.

Not sure where you'd start with a regular Torque vehicle.

i would use physx but i lost the tool i need to export xml files from max to torque for use with joints and that =/
