Kept getting annoying console spam. :x Some object would be deleted whilst in a trigger and the trigger's onLeave callback would call but the object would no longer exist. Note: I never did find out WHAT was actually getting deleted but hey ... it'd be like " Object (1412324) unknown command wh...

Okay ... let's not get too hasty here ... I am setting the orbit camera via a ServerCmd ... from GameCore ... which ... if I am not mistaken ... is also the server ... Setting the actual %client.camera.doCameraStuff here in gameCore::spawnPlayer seems to clear up all my problems ... If I manage to c...

I've had a number of audio issues (and player spawn issues based on ghosting distance and being out of scope but that's for another thread). I am using playlists, but the audio that is going off-key (distorted) are not using playlists. Disclaimer: I am spawning with orbitObject camera. (also I am us...

Dropping key frames from export does not make a difference. Torque copies the first frame of animation to the last. Happens with the stock soldier animations as well. Load soldier up in shapeEditor and choose backwards (or any looping animation), press pause and check the first and last frame and th...

Found an issue with looping animations. Torque copies the first key frame and then pastes it over the last - thus causing that duplicated frame to play twice and cause a stutter in the animation. If you change the first or last key frames in the shapeEditor, it just updates the last frame again. :ro...

@Azaezel Just to try and iron out my confusion - Back to: Detail Normal Texture, Alpha Channel: Your height information. If it's the detailMap_nm, you'd still not be able to use DDS.dxt5_nm because that compression/format needs the alpha channel to reduce artifacts. (using standard DDS.dxt1/3/5 for ...

@JeffR Detail Normal Texture, Alpha Channel: Your height information. Won't this create horrible artifacts if you can't use DDS DXT5_NM? Or huge file sizes? What else except DDS has an alpha channel? PNG has transparency but not actual alpha. <EDIT> I like the idea of full colour diffuseDetailMap wi...
