Will the camera based render path have an effect on VR support? Sounds to me like that would also be easier, but what about the existing support?

Great update! Regarding the tile editor: Right now it seems quite custom tailored to 2D floors. But what about quickly assembling modular 3D assets such as: https://opengameart.org/content/medieval-town-base-3d-assets https://opengameart.org/content/space-kit https://opengameart.org/content/nature-p...

How about making the entire game open-source? You can still sell the compiled full version if you want. For animations, maybe the CC-by-SA licensed set from Ryzom would do? https://sourceforge.net/projects/ryzomblend/files/ (and bends, but I have not checked the quality), otherwise see discussion he...

Recent (?) improvements (as of version 2.76b) also made the import of .dae files into blender quite bit better, the default Torque soldier seems to import with a functional rig fine now. Just the animations are still impossible to import as they are in separate files. I even tried to copy&paste ...

Seems cool and I would be willing to contribute a few euros, but what if the 500€ are not reached? It's a "flexible funding" campaign, meaning you will get the any money pledged regardless of reaching the goal... so what happens with my money if the 500€ are not reached?
